At Boehme, we offer rugs made from repurposed scraps of huipiles, the traditional blouses of Guatemala. Each rug is one of a kind and reflects a part of the country’s culture.

Huipiles are handwoven using a backstrap loom and feature colors and designs that represent important elements of Guatemalan identity. By reusing these materials, we help reduce environmental impact.
