Our Huipil Pillow Covers are made from recycled textiles that were originally worn as traditional huipiles in various regions of Guatemala. Each cover is one of a kind, showcasing the colors, patterns, and embroidery specific to its community of origin.

The textiles are 100% cotton and were originally handwoven using traditional techniques like the backstrap loom. After being selected and recovered, they are crafted into pillow covers in Sacatepéquez, Antigua Guatemala, giving them a second life.

These covers not only serve as decor but also help preserve Guatemala’s textile history and support local artisans.
