Allium

This candle breaks with the traditional aesthetic of handmade Guatemalan candles. That is why it is named Allium, after the flower known for its compact sphere of tiny blooms on a long stem.

Candles made in Guatemala, where the technique is passed down through generations by Guatemalan women who transform wax into unique objects.

The fire that lights them predates the wax itself. In Maya spirituality it is the way to communicate with the Creator, once offered as ocote pine, today held in wax.
